Ann loves to dance. Sometimes she has trouble reading, but she is always good at sports. Sometimes she wears glasses.

BART
Bart has had a difficult life. He has gone to many schools. But he began to fix his life when he went to a new school with a counselor that helped him learn to talk about his wants, rather than hitting or bullying.

BEn/
Pete
Ben loves to read. He’s read all the Harry Potter books. He thinks he looks like him. He’s not very good at sports, but very good at math. Ben is Jewish. He also has a twin brother, Pete.

JADA
Jada likes to read and study. She wants to be a veterinarian, so she is studying all the time. She’s really quiet, but very nice and determined. She also likes to help other students, so she is very popular when the class is learning something difficult.

JAVON
Javon is a quiet and very gentle boy. He lets things roll off his back, and avoids fighting. He really wants to be a doctor when he grows up, so he studies very hard.

RAMON
Ramon came to the United States before he went to school. He speaks Spanish at home and loves soccer. He likes his school. Ramon can be rather charming. He is in one verse in Hands to Yourself where his hands just happen to wander toward Ann’s hair.

SARAH
Sara is a Muslim girl. She wears cloth over her head. Sometimes people hurt her feelings by making fun of it. But most of the time, they are respectful. She is very nice and has a lot of friends.

TIFFANY
Tiffany is of Asian decent. She sometimes takes life too seriously and studies a bit too hard. But she loves her friends, especially those who make her laugh.

MR. CHRISTY
Counselor
Mr. Christy is a counselor at school. Students come to him with their problems. He seems to have a lot of patience. He teaches them ways to react to situations that will help them keep friends.

Teacher
Mrs. Miller is a very popular teacher. Not only do you learn a lot in her class, but she loves her students and they can feel it.
